REACH Delivery -
Allow Alert Popups
This function is accessible
to all users through the "Options & Settings" ->
"Advanced Options and Settings" menu item.
The "Allow Alert Popups" function
is used to determine whether or not a user will receive
real time notifications when a file gas been received in
REACH Delivery.
Unless It is recommended
that this option be you are working on a
public workstation without separate security access this
setting should be set to closed e.g. no tick next to
"open system" for REACH Delivery to notify you of new
messages or updated documents.
When
"Allow Alert Popups" is set to (Yes).
Allow Alert Popups is turned on when the menu option has a
"(Yes)" displayed. Please see
example opposite.
This means that when a message is received by REACH Delivery a real
time popup message will be displayed to the user to
indicate that the message has been received. This is
the default behaviour and it is recommended that this
option not be changed.
When "Allow Alert Popups" is set to (No).
Allow
Alert Popups is turned
off when the menu option has "(No)" displayed. Please see
example opposite.
This
means that the application will not notify the user when
a new message has been received and they will need to
periodically check the REACH Delivery application in
order to determine is a message has been received.
